Assault is generally defined as an individual causing physical injury to another person or touching another person with the intent to injure, provoke or insult that person. An assault can be considered aggravated for a variety of reasons, including (but not limited to), if the behavior results in serious physical injury to another person or if the person uses a deadly weapon or other dangerous instrument.
A.R.S. §§ 13-1203 & 13-1204

Allegations of child abuse or endangerment can include a broad range of injuries or cruelties inflicted on a child, including (but not limited to), physical injury (i.e. skin bruising, malnutrition, dehydration, burns, fracture of a bone, etc.), endangerment, negligence, and emotional abuse.
A.R.S. § 13-3623

Dangerous Crimes Against Children (DCAC) are generally classified as crimes committed against a minor who is under fifteen years of age, including (but not limited to): attempted first degree murder, second degree murder, aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon, sexual assault, child molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, child abuse, kidnapping, and sexual abuse. These crimes are very serious and can be punishable by up to life imprisonment upon conviction.

Domestic violence generally involves members of a family (i.e. spouses, siblings, grandparents, etc.) or individuals living within the same household and can include behaviors such as stalking another person (i.e. repeated phone calls, following an individual, etc.), making verbal or physical threats and psychological abuse (i.e. controlling or insulting behavior). Domestic violence allegations can be more serious depending upon the severity of the threat or injury – if any, or if a weapon or other dangerous instrument was involved in any way.

Manslaughter includes (but is not limited to), recklessly causing the death of another person, or committing second-degree murder upon a sudden quarrel or heat of passion resulting from adequate provocation by the victim and is a class 2 felony.

Murder (first-degree) refers to the causing of death of another person with premeditation, is a class 1 felony, and is punishable by death or life imprisonment.
A.R.S. § 13-1105

Murder (second-degree) is classified as intentionally causing the death of another person without premeditation, and is a class 1 felony and is punishable as provided by section 13-604, 13-604.01 or 13-710.

Negligent homicide is committed if, with criminal negligence, the person causes the death of another person, and is a class 4 felony.

Weapon violation charges, such as misconduct involving weapons, caninclude (but is not limited to) activities such as, carrying a deadly weapon without a permit, concealing a weapon, using or possessing a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony offense, and possessing a deadly weapon if you are a prohibited possessor.
